Numedyne

Numedyne was establised by Dr. Umut Can Coşkun in Istanbul, Türkiye, in December 2023, specializes in providing Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) solutions. Awarded the Excellence Seal by TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye) and received investment from the TUBITAK BiGG Fund through partnership, our firm stands out for its commitment to quality in engineering, while remaining economically feasible.

Numedyne utilizes open-source tools and have access to Türkiye’s leading high-performance computing facilities. Furthermore, we are dedicated to advance the field through the development of our proprietary CFD and high-dimensional optimization tools, specifically tailored to enhance numerical studies.

Founder

I hold a PhD in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering, complemented by MSc & BSc degrees in Mechanical Engineering.

Publised 6 journal articles and 10 conference papers on fluid dynamics research.

Contributed to 8 research projects funded by industry partners or government, focusing on applied CFD challenges.

My expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of CFD-related fields, including heat and fluid flow problems in complex geometries, aerodynamics, fluid-structure interaction, micro-channel flows and multiphase flows. I am proficient in using OpenFOAM and Ansys Fluent, along with most of leading pre- and post-processing numerical tools.
